welcome to our The home page of Machtzucht
Kennels Owned and operated by Jenny & Michael Burns. We
have been involved in the Rottweiler breed since 1990.
We have a simple philosophy on which our Breeding program and owner selection is based. We breed the Rottweiler as per the official ADRK breed standard. This means that the dogs we breed must not only Look like Rottweilers but they also must behave like a true Rottweiler. The Rottweiler true behavior is that he should be calm, willing to work for sustained periods, be very courageous and a good family member especially with children. This does not mean that the Rottweiler is a couch potato as he must always defend himself against dangers and threats. Part of establishing whether the Rottweilers are worthy to be utilized in our breeding program is to ensure that they meet the breed standard for looks and for Character the character testing is done via participation in Schutzhund/Dogsport/IPO or by passing the ADRK'S ZTP ( Breed suitability Test)
